Corporate Flower Subscription in Kenya: Cost and Benefits
Nobody has ever signed a contract because there were flowers at reception. But clients form an impression of a company in the ninety seconds between the door and the meeting room, and that impression is built almost entirely out of things nobody consciously notices. the state of the seating, the light, whether the space looks tended.
Flowers are the cheapest lever on that list, and the only one that visibly resets every week.
What a corporate flower subscription in Kenya costs
Realistically, between KSh 15,000 and KSh 55,000 a month depending on how many arrangements and how many spaces. Our Starter tier covers a single reception desk at KSh 15,000; Premium covers six arrangements a week across multiple floors at KSh 55,000. For most offices the honest answer is the middle tier.
Subscription versus ordering ad hoc
The money is roughly similar. What changes is the administration. Ad-hoc ordering means someone on your team remembers, chooses, chases and reconciles a separate invoice every time. and in practice it means the flowers are there for the client visit and absent for the six weeks in between. A subscription means it happens whether or not anyone remembers, and it arrives as one invoice a month.
Four questions worth asking a supplier
- Who owns the vessels? If you are buying vases every week, that is not a subscription, it is repeat retail.
- Who clears the old arrangement? The answer should not be “your receptionist”.
- What happens if an arrangement fails early? Ask whether they replace it, and how fast.
- What happens over the December shutdown? Agree the pause in advance rather than paying for deliveries to an empty building.
Matching flowers to brand colours
This is worth doing once, properly, and then leaving alone. Give your florist the brand palette at setup and let them work seasonally within it. insisting on exact brand colours every week means paying a premium for whatever is scarce that month, and the result usually looks more corporate than intended.
